RELATED: Kung Fu Games You Need To Play If You Love Sifu
Sifu has already accumulated a massive fanbase that has scoured each and every inch of the game. While Sifudoesn’t feature any additional content aside from its five levels, modders have taken things into their own hands and released several mods that change up the gameplay in numerous ways. Here are some of the best mods that players can check out to either slightly tweak or completely overhaul the gameplay in Sifu.
8 Sifun
Sifu is a great experience, but there are times when the player’s limited resources make combat extremely challenging. This leads to situations where players die over and over again and see their age ramp up significantly, attaching a ton of pressure to each successive run.
With Sifun, many parts of the game are tweaked to let players enjoy what could be a more balanced experience in their eyes. Camera FOV is improved to make it less of a hassle, health is increased by 50% while takedowns increase it by a higher amount, and both players & enemies move 25% faster. It’s a great way to change up the overall experience for players who might find the vanilla game to be slightly stale, even on repeated playthroughs.
7 God Mode (Unlimited Health)
While the high difficulty of Sifu is one of the biggest draws of the experience, there are times when the frustration can get the better of players. It’s a shame, since repetition and attaining perfection is what makes Sifu such a special experience.
That being said, it’s fine for players to want more accessibility from their games, and the same applies to Sifu as well. Players who want to breeze through the game without worrying about dying over and over again should check out the God Mode mod, which does exactly what it sets out to do. Blasting through enemies and tanking hits like a beast is extremely satisfying and makes for a great time in a game where a single misstep can ultimately lead to anyone’s demise.
6 Sifudoka Moveset
The moveset in vanilla Sifu gets the job done with a combination of punches, kicks, grabs, and counters. Not all the moves that the player can pull off are flashy, and they don’t need to be — after all, utility takes precedence over everything else.

However, players who want to absolutely decimate enemies with flashy combos should try out the Sifudoka Moveset mod. It prioritizes kicks and flamboyant moves that are a joy to pull off firsthand.
5 Modded Moveset
Moveset mods are going to be pretty prevalent now, given just how common these attacks are. Keep in mind that only one moveset mod should be used at a time, so players should not get greedy and try installing multiple mods in one go.
This simply-titled mod does exactly what is stated in the title and changes up the player’s moveset quite a bit. The fact that it lets players pull off moves that only the bosses could perform makes it pretty great as well!
4 Most Cool Moveset
This happens to be another moveset mod that is pretty fun to experiment with. After all, no mod would declare itself to be cool without having the pedigree to back up this bold claim.
With a whole host of move swaps that are pretty flashy and exciting to pull off, this moveset mod is a blast to use in the game. Of course, this doesn’t mean that players should get greedy with their hits — Sifu is still a hard game that will punish players who want to look cool just for the sake of it.
3 Yang Full Replacement
Yang is the game’s primary antagonist and the final boss. Getting to know his story gives a ton of context to his heinous actions early on in the game…but by that time, the player has already progressed too far into their quest to back off now.

With this mod, players can use Yang’s powerful moveset for themselves! Using his powerful moves to fell enemies one by one is a blast and makes for a unique experience indeed.
2 Brawler Moveset
Unlike most of the other moveset mods on this list, the Brawler Moveset mod isn’t meant to make things easier. On the contrary, this mod actually makes things harder by giving players a slow moveset that isn’t flashy in the slightest.
That being said, the Brawler Moveset mod is definitely a rather unique way to make players rethink all their moves in the game, especially due to how slow every attack is. Thankfully, players can’t be interrupted during these moves, and they hit for pretty severe damage as well.
1 Unbreakable Weapons Mod
Using weapons is a blast in Sifu, mainly due to just how powerful these artificial appendages can be when used correctly. However, these weapons don’t last for long, and players can find themselves in a sticky situation if these weapons break in the middle of combat.
With the Unbreakable Weapons mod, this issue will become a thing of the past. Now, players can storm through areas with the weapon of their choice and beat enemies into submission, which can make the game a lot more entertaining to play…especially for players who were getting pummeled over and over again before installing this mod.
Sifu is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
