The Grau 5.56 has become one of the best all-around weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone. The gun is very powerful, it maintains its strength at range, has fast fire-rate, and with the right attachments can be deadly accurate.

The Grau5.56 is also extremely versatile, as it can be used like a hybrid between an AR and an SMG. The assault rifle is right at home with the best loadouts for Warzone.

The Best Attachments for the Grau

There are attachments that can be put on the Grau that make it extremely accurate. There are a few guns that kill faster in Warzone, but if the gun kicks like a mule, it won’t be very helpful when bullets aren’t connecting. With this Grau setup, the gun is an absolute laser for any distance, and still maintains its speed of handling that help it feel almost like an SMG at close ranges.

Here are the five attachments that make the Grau legitimately OP:

Grau 5.56

Muzzle - Monolith Suppressor

Barrel - FFS 20.8" Nexus

Laser - Tac Laser

Underbarrel - Commando Foregrip

Ammunition - 60 Round Mags

The above attachments help take the Grau from a great weapon, even naked, to an all-around monster in Warzone. The Monolith Suppressor makes the gun quiet, and players won’t show up on the radar. Additionally, the Monolith Suppressor and the Nexus Barrel both help with extending the damage range for the Grau. The Nexus barrel also ups the bullet velocity of the gun and makes it more accurate. The Tac Laser helps counter some of the negatives of the other attachments, including improving the aim down sight speed. The Commando Foregrip improves the recoil stabilization and general accuracy. And lastly, 60 rounds in a game like Warzone is super helpful, as fewer reloads and more bullets downfield equal more kills. The M4A1 is often considered the best AR in Warzone, but this Grau class might be even better.

Which Perks and Guns Make The Perfect Grau Loadout

The gun is just one piece of the perfect loadout. Perks, equipment, and other weapons complete the package. There are quite a few different options to make an amazing Grau class because the gun is so versatile.

Sniper Class

Kar98k - Singaurd Custom 25.1", Tac Laser, Sniper Scope, FTAC Sport Comb, and Stippled Grip

Perks - Cold-Blooded, Overkill, Amped

Equipment - C4 and Heartbeat Sensor

The Kar98k is a great sniper rifle because the speed and accuracy of the gun can’t be denied. The attachments here help with the speedy handling of the weapon. Some say that the HDR is the best Sniper in Warzone, as the Kar98 is technically a Marksman Rifle, but any sniper set-up that the player feels comfortable with will work here. The Grau can be used at mid and close range, and the sniper can take care of everyone else. The Cold-Blooded perk makes players not show up on thermal optics, Overkill is required for two primaries, and Amped helps players swap between those two primaries very quickly. C4 is a great anti-vehicle option, and the Heartbeat Sensor helps with creeping up on enemies or catching campers in buildings.

RPG Class

RPG - no attachments

Perks - Scavenger, Ghost, and Amped

Equipment - C4 and Heartbeat Sensor

Although many, including Dr. DisRespect, would like to see the RPG taken out of Warzone, or at least nerfed, the secondary is super effective against vehicles and humans alike. The perk setup allows for more ammo, stealth, and quick swaps between weapons. The C4 adds to the explosiveness, and the Heartbeat Sensor is a given in any setup.

SMG Class

MP7- Tactical Suppressor, FSS Recon, Tac Laser,  60 Round Magazine, Stippled Grip Tape

Perks - Cold-Blooded, Overkill, Amped

Equipment - C4 and Heartbeat Sensor

The MP7 is perhaps the best SMG in Warzone. The attachments provided will help maintain the speed of handling of the weapon, along with its laser point accuracy. Using the Grau for mid and even long-range is totally possible with the attachment setup. So players can quickly swap the MP7 to take down everyone indoors and at close-range. Again, Cold-Blooded helps for additional stealth, Overkill is required for two primaries, and Amped helps players swap between those two primaries very quickly. Vehicles can be scary in Warzone, C4 counters them. And the Heartbeat Sensor is the best all-around piece of equipment in the game.

Players can also make a secondary setup of either the Sniper or SMG class by adding Ghost, arguably an S-teir perk, and buy or find another loadout drop to swap to Ghost, but still maintain both primaries. Either way, the Grau can become the best AR in the game, and knowing that that is the case is half the battle.
