Unfortunately, the new Season doesn’t feature any new weapons. However, it has updated versions. When launching the new season, Respawn tweaked some values and changed some spawns around, thus completely revitalizing the weapon meta. This guide reviews the weapon changes with a list of the best tier list weapons this Season.

10 Peacekeeper

Of all the weapons this Season, Peacekeeper tops the list of the most significant reforms. It is now part of the care packages from being a mere loot pool. In previous seasons, the Peacekeeper was a strong weapon but is now a brutal and mass destructive weapon. It now has big buffs such as faster reload times, tighter pellet spread, better consistency at a close range, and tiny rechamber times. Peacekeeper is a shotgun that also serves as a sniper.

Thus, it is the perfect choice for a gamer looking to rip off the enemy shield. Irrespective of what the engagement is, the Peacekeeper is a phenomenal weapon that will get the job done. You may not see it much during this Season. But when you do, make sure you drop it as close range and watch your enemies die.

9 Kraber

Any player with spectacular accuracy chooses Kraber as their sniper. Apart from Gibraltar with his gun shield, the Kraber is the other gun that can down any enemy as long as the gamer hits a headshot, which isn’t easy.

8 L-Star

Unlike in other seasons, the L-Star isn’t in the care package. The good news is that it doesn’t need to reload, though it will overheat if the game fires it too often. When a player picks up the L-star, it is wise to stock on the energy armor, without the need to reload. However, it still maintains its power.

It can take a longer time to fire the weapon at full speed. But once a gamer gets going, the gamer will attest to the L-star being the best fast firing gun this Season. It even outdoes the famous R-99. For best use, the player needs to manage the fire to prevent overheating.

7 Devotion

Before season 4, Devotion was merely a standard weapon. Devotion left the standard loot pool in Season four, as it joined the care package. In season 5, this LMG is powerful enough to melt anyone from both mid and close range. This is possible only if the player masters the recoil.

Devotion has a significantly less spin up time, thanks to the alterations on the Turbocharger attachment. In comparison to the Havoc, Devotion is better since it doesn’t need any spin-up time. It is now the deadliest gun in the game. Devotion can decimate numerous people before reloading. Therefore it is an ideal weapon for a final ring engagement.

6 Longbow

Every Apex gamer knows the Longbow DMR has so far been the most consistent performer. It may not be as powerful, but it sure is forgiving. Aim for the opponent’s head, and then follow up the shot with whatever else you can hit. In season 5, the Longbow takes a better turn. Now, it can handle a Skullpiercer attachment. Thus, increasing the headshot damage and qualifying to be a reliable non-supply drop Rifle for gamers.

5 Hemlok

Most players pass taking on the Hemlock and opt for other auto-weapons such as R-301. Though rarely picked, don’t underestimate its ability. It is a massive assault burst rifle. Considering how it slings ammunition, it is quite impressive and accurate.

Gamers should keep their eyes glued to see the Legendary golden Hemlok this Season. The long-range and single-shot option comes in handy to conserve armor. Besides, the burst gives the gamer all the firepower they need.

4 G7 Scout

It wouldn’t be wrong to consider the G7 Scout as the most flexible weapon in Apex Legend. The G7 boasts a better shooting range, and comparing it to other single-shot rifles; it has a fast rate of fire.

3 Havoc

In Season 4, Havoc became quite the beast after a severe upgrade. With this Season, we continue to expect the Havoc to reign. Though it now features an increase in recoil, which could affect its ranking. This assault rifle packs an accurate punch. The only downside could be its irritating charge time.

2 RE-45

Any player looking to get into the middle of a fight should choose the RE-45. It has manageable recoil. And on firing, you can expect maximum damage to any unshielded opponents.

The increase in damage to 12 from 11 makes it a reasonable choice when there are no options available. Furthermore, it shares a lot of attachments, which is why you should consider choosing it.

1 Charge Rifle

This is a unique sniper rifle. Rather than merely firing off a single round, it fires a beam of energy. Thus, enabling a gamer to track an enemy and deal with damage simultaneously. One good gamer strategy is using sniper rifles to lead your opponent.

A charge rifle enables you to lead them, deal with the damage, and score a quick sniper kills even from a distance. The reload time may not be as fast, but it remains an effective weapon for gamers who play in Apex Legends from a long distance. Note that the tier list is always subject to change according to any future updates.
