The 8.1 update introduces players to a new robot faction called the Scavengers. People can equip light weapons on their robots to attack enemies with fast projectiles and explosives. Light weapons can be unlocked early on in the game and provides a tactical advantage against opponents on nearly every map available in the game. Here’s a rundown of the most versatile light weapons in War Robots that offer players a competitive edge to their gameplay in 2022.
14 Molot
Molot is a kinetic light weapon. It can be mounted on robots such as Ares, Gepard, and Griffin. The Tier I weapon is effective at dealing damage in mid and long-range. It has a low spread rate, even while covering large distances that are over 800 meters. However, it is not recommended to use Molot while fighting robots in close-range combat. Players can use the Jump ability to move further away from approaching enemies in battle.

People can accelerate the speed of the projectiles fired to 1.5x its normal rate by holding it down for 3 seconds. It also deals double the damage to physical shields. The light weapon comes with a large capacity to hold ammunition for longer durations of combat.
13 Gust
Gust is a dangerous weapon to use in close and mid-range combat. It is faster than many of the medium and heavy weapons such as Storm and Thunder. The shotgun can pierce energy and physical shields easily while shooting enemies within 200 meters.
It has a decreased reload rate, taking less than 5 seconds to refill the magazine. Players can pair Gust with Glory to increase the damage dealt by their robots. Canyon and Carrier are maps that have very little cover and allow players to annihilate enemies with Gust. It can be purchased for 1,500 Gold in War Robots.
12 Marquess
Marquess is an energy weapon that deals more than 1,000 damage per plasmoid. It has a small clip size that can carry 8 plasmoids per round. The Tier III weapon can be ineffective against brawler robots that can disable opponents in close-range combat. It is also ineffective against physical shields.

The ability Hunt activates stealth mode in the Pursuer to get closer to enemies with Gust by increasing its speed by up to 33% for 10 seconds.
11 Rime
Rime is an expensive light weapon that can be unlocked for 6,000 Gold in War Robots. The explosive weapon can deal over 300 damage per missile. It is a close-range weapon that can freeze enemies in their path and deals splash damage.
The Tier IV weapon has a large clip size and can hold 35 rockets per round. Players can also reload Rime while firing the weapon. Rime works well with weapons such as Cryo and Glacier that have similar freezing effects on their opponents in battle.
10 Aphid

Blaze is good at dealing damage at close range and can penetrate most types of shields in battle.

7 Magnetar
Magnetar is a light weapon that can be unlocked at level 30 in the game. The Tier IV weapon deals 495 damage per round. It is most useful to strike enemies at mid-range and has a maximum range of 600 meters in battle. Magnetar has a capacity of 24 energy rounds and takes 5 seconds to reload.

The Tier IV weapon has increased accuracy and does not spread out too wide while being shot. Although Magnetar is effective at penetrating blue energy shields, it can not pass through physical shields in War Robots.
6 Magnum
Magnum is a light weapon that can be bought for 1,000 Gold in the game. Magnum can be unlocked early on in the game by reaching level 2. The Tier I weapon deals 870 damage per plasmoid and has an unlimited capacity for ammunition. It does not need to be reloaded and can be shot without interruption.

5 Noricum
Noricum is a light weapon that can be purchased for 290,000 Silver in the game. The Tier II weapon can be unlocked at level 5. Noricum deals 610 damage per rocket and has a total capacity of 14 rockets. It has a comparatively longer reload time and takes 15 seconds to restock the magazine.
The long-range weapon can be used to shoot enemies at distances up to 1,100 meters. It is equipped by people that play maps Dreadnought, Rome, and Yamantau frequently. The longer reload time of Noricum gives opponents a chance to regenerate their shields in battle.
4 Punisher
Punisher is a light weapon that deals 160 damage per round. It can be unlocked at level 3 and will cost 20,000 Silver at the store. The Tier I weapon can be used in mid-range combat and has a range of 500 meters. It has the capacity to hold 220 rounds of ammunition.
The Tier I weapon takes 10 seconds to reload. The rate of fire can be accelerated by using the weapon for more than 3 seconds. The increased rate of fire causes the bullets to spread at longer ranges, making it harder to shoot enemies in a fight. Punisher has to be emptied out before being able to reload.
3 Scatter
Scatter is a Tier IV weapon in War Robots. The light weapon will cost 10,000 Components in the game and can be unlocked at level 20. It deals 2,600 damage per shockwave and is effective in close-range combat. Scatter takes 11.25 seconds to reload and a clip can hold up to 9 rounds of ammunition.

The light weapon can deal increased damage to Ancile and Aegis shields. Scatter has increased accuracy and firepower at ranges between 100 – 200 meters. The Tier IV weapon can not penetrate physical and energy shields.
2 Spiral
Spiral is a Tier I weapon in War Robots. The light weapon can be bought for 20,000 Silver at the store.
