The storyline revolves around a British crime family, the Shelbys. After Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) returns from the war, he ferociously plans to expand the family’s control of Birmingham, and mistakenly steals a shipment of guns to give his gang an edge in the world of crime.
Set in the restless period of change, Peaky Blinderswill keep you intrigued all throughout. Brilliantly written and well placed, the Netflix series 2020 leaves no emotion uncaptured – full of drama, the anxieties, action, exciting highs and deep melancholies grip the Shelby family as they build a criminal empire The show follows Tommy and his family as they move up in the world, fighting their fights with crime families and the British government.

The original Netflix series is a spin-off of the television series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and stars five queer specialistswho embark on a new journey in every episode to transform people, making their lives happier, cleaner, easier, and healthier. A light-hearted series, this one is at the same time thought-provoking and uplifting. Each specialist is a master in his own field and encourages the protagonist to take a charge of their lives. It’s the openness and unabashed attitude of these guys that makes the Netflix series so real.

Never Have I Ever
A coming-of-age dramedy, Never Have I Ever is a roller-coaster ride. This Netflix series 2020 is about a young women, overcoming the death of her father, takes on a journey to change her life and upraise her social status. In short, it beautifully presents the complicated life of a first-generation Indian-American teenager.
Devi Vishwakumar played outstandingly well by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, is an Indian girl raised in America who faces resilience from friends and family when she decides to change her life. The show will definitely make you laugh, cry, swoon – all at one go as Devi focusses on fitting in and goes searching for love with the pinch of homosexuality.
Mindhunter
By David Fincher, Mindhunter is a tour de force in the field of criminal psychology. Loved as one of the best Netflix series 2020, this sleek production revolves around the nature of criminal psychology, rather than grotesque violence. Set in the mid 90’s, the cultural upheavals have tumbled the faith in the American ideal, and the agents of the FBI face an unacquainted kind of criminal: a serial killer, whose crimes have no basis in reason as far as the agency can see. Agent Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) together with Behavioral Science Unit agent Bill Tench (Holt McCallany), Ford travels the length and breadth of the country to interview imprisoned serial killers to cognize what drives them.
Mindhunters also pays exceptional attention to character development and the story lines are always gripping, particularly when the team get involved in various grizzly murder investigations. A must watch Netflix series on the weekend.
Unorthodox
The startling complexity of this Netflix series 2020 is gripping beyond explanation. Based on an autobiography from writer Deborah Feldman, the tale trails 19 year old Esty (Shira Haas), a young woman thriving in an orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn. Explicating her troubles beautifullu, it shows how the protagonist feels trapped in an arranged marriage with a young man named Yanky (Amit Rahav). Exasperated with the harsh demands of such a life, Estydecides to run away from everything she knows, hopps a plane and moves to Berlin to reconnect with her estranged mother.
Bringing out the inner workings of orthodox Judais, Unorthodox walks such a fine tightrope exploring universal, impassioned emotions within a highly specific set of life circumstances.
Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich
The recent conviction of Jeffery Epstein’s girlfriend has the world rumoring about the suicide of Jeffrey Epstein. If you don’t know about Jeffrey Epstein, this documentary is a must watch for you. The original Netflix series revolves around the one-time high-society financier and convicted sexual offender. The four-part docuseries includes unabashed interviews with Epstein’s former colleagues, associates and also showcases chilling deposition footage of Epstein himself. The documentary is beautifully directed by Lisa Bryant who has fearlessly focused on the stories of the survivors, women who feel in the hands of the pedophile and are brave enough to share their true story with the world.
Set during the years leading to the 1967 Six-Day War between Israel and Syria, Spy follows the exploits of Eli Cohen, a Mossad spy. Leaving his beloved family behind, keeping it a well-kept secret all year long the clerk-turned spy goes deep undercover inside Syria to spy for Mossad. The Netflix series 2020 will have a close grip on you till the end. The turmoil, the hardships, the changes, the personalities, each and every episode is engaging till the very end.
Inspired by real-life events, the espionage thriller is fabulously told. While Sacha Baron Cohen plays his role phenomenally, the other actors have outshone their acting credentials.
