That desire will have to wait however since it’s yet to be made. That doesn’t stop fans from enjoying the show so much that they find the need to fill the Welcome to Eden-shaped hole in their lives. Luckily there are a plethora of gripping thrillers, fantastic settings, and even more suspenseful stories to enjoy while waiting for the next season.

6 Money Heist

When most think of successful Spanish TV shows that have taken the world by storm, one show comes to mind, Money Heist. It’s a fantastic and slightly hilarious crime drama that undeniably has the thrills many fans of Welcome to Eden are looking for.

As seen by the name, it’s all about a group of people who are planning to pull off the biggest heist ever by printing their own money. Similar to Welcome to Eden, the chemistry between the characters is rocky but fantastic and fans will definitely develop favorites, even if they aren’t the nicest people in the world. If thrilling crime is a favorite, check out Money Heist and a new love may just develop.

5 Outer Banks

One of the best things about Welcome to Eden is the relationships between the characters. It’s not the smoothest of rides but it’s one that brings tension, thrills, and unexpected turns which are all accompanied by the problematic scenario that encompasses the story as a whole. This is almost exactly like Outer Banks, except the people in this show actually live on the island permanently and aren’t looking to get off it, or at least some of them aren’t.

Outer Banks is a fantastically popular show filled with great friends, a bit of love, some beautiful beaches, and a mysterious treasure hunt that leads to considerable danger along the way. It has much of the same tropes as Welcome to Eden and really resembles a similar presence on Netflix. It also has more than one season to enjoy.

4 The A-List

The A-List is the perfect show if viewers are looking for the same kind of thrills and storyline but with a little bit of the supernatural added in. It’s filled with a classic mysterious island, but this time the crew of friends is facing black magic and other mysterious problems they all have to solve.

It’s the kind of show that has no problem killing off members of the cast so don’t get too attached to them. However, anything is possible with the use of magic so they may not stay dead for too long. Either way, it’s all about this crew just trying to get out of this malicious island before more of them get hurt.

3 The Wilds

In a similar story to the classic novel Lord Of The Flies, The Wilds is all about a group of teenage girls who find themselves on a remote island that is subject to some sort of cruel experiment. It’s all about how these characters deal with such a traumatic event and what they do to find some order on this unforgiving island.

In a similar way to Welcome to Eden, The Wilds is focused on being stuck on a remote island, away from any real civilization, and how they behave in such a scenario. It’s a great thriller that will keep viewers gripped by the great characters and the way they are written and performed.

2 Lost

The Lost series is famous for two things. The first is the fact that it’s a fantastic show, and the second is the idea that, if viewers want it to remain a great show, they should avoid the last season at all costs. It’s got a rather disappointing ending but so many other seasons and such a good story at the beginning that fans of Welcome to Eden will be able to fully immerse themselves into this fantastic show.

It’s all about a group of people who find themselves trapped on an island after a plane crash. It’s an ideal mix between survival, drama, and the thrills of being stuck on a deadly island with the same people. It feels like the inspiration for Welcome to Eden.

1 Elite

Moving away from the not-so paradise island settings, Elite is yet another successful Spanish TV thriller that delves into the lives of young people and the problems they suffer as they struggle with their own morals and those of the people around them.

It’s essentially a classic school drama with a twist. Three working-class students come into this particularly exclusive school and viewers can watch as these two very different lives come crashing together. Luckily, it’s not just a show with five seasons of arguing, it involves some elements that are much more sinister which will keep both the students and the character on edge throughout.
